Salary: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year

As a Chemical Route Driver with Automated Dairy, professional customer service and a strong attention to detail and direction are critical for success. Using a semi, the driver delivers large containers of chemicals to dairies locally. No weekends and our local delivery drivers are home every night.


  • Loads, transports, and delivers dairy chemical products in a semi-tractor trailer on a local delivery route.
  • Works in accordance with all DOT and Automated Dairy standards and policies.
  • Provides excellent customer service to the dairies.
  • Performs pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, document deficiencies and ensure all safety items are in good working order.
  • Safely operates a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers by use of a hand truck, forklift or dolly.
  • Maintain the warehouse so it is clean, organized, and safe for all employees.
  • Other potential tasks may be assigned as necessary to meet general warehousing guidelines. These tasks may be, but not limited to: general housekeeping, labeling, and organizing of goods, pallets, and associated spaces areas.
  • Demonstrate industry expertise, providing exceptional customer service to dairies
  • Learn about all dairy chemicals and their functions


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and physical.
  • Requires Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement (received during the first month of employment).
  • Clean driving record.
  • Must be able to lift 100+ lbs. repeatedly.
  • Ability to work with a hand-truck and to roll and maneuver 55 gallon (500lb) barrels.
  • Must exercise good judgment and decision-making skills. Excellent time management skills required.
  • Must be detail oriented with a high level of customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, and interpersonal skills required, including the ability to listen and speak with others to convey information effectively.
  • Exhibit regular and consistent attendance in a timely manner at the place of work.
  • Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment for job appropriate duties to include protective eyewear, clothing, gloves, and appropriate footwear to provide protection from chemicals and other potential work hazards, in accordance with the Automated Dairy PPE Program.
