On August 29th a ceremonial groundbreaking was held at the dairy as an official start to this one-of-a-kind project. ADS along with other partners and construction companies has the opportunity to meet and discuss final plans before the project fully begins in the next few months.
Pagel said the idea to build a 110-rotary barn began two years ago as a joke, but the thought evolved into a plan and now he’s excited to see his vision become a reality.
“We are very confident in BouMatic and the ADS group in being able to put it in, take care of us and make that thing run like a clock,” says Pagel.
The goal is for the barn to be fully operational and milking cows by May 1st, 2018.
